Wolverine's

It's amazing how a week and camp can totally inspire a child. Grace couldn't wait for basketball season to get here. At her first game she got MVP for defense. She amazed me at how fast she was and how she could use her booty to block and push those other girls around. She is great at defense. She even played more quarters than several of the other players. GO WOLVERINES!!!

Grace plays in the Upward league. It is so amazing. I am so impressed with this organization. The girls are rewarded for all practices that the come to with a start to iron onto their jersey. Then after the game is over stars in different colors are given to each player based on the skill they displayed ie...sportsmanship, defense, team spirit etc. There was a prayer before the beginning of the game and at half time there was a scripture read with a small devotional. It was wholesome and great!!!
