San Antonio Zoo, Tip Top Cafe, Alamo, Work etc..

For Christmas my mom and dad gave us a trip to San Antonio. We all drove down on Friday morning. We stayed at the Westin La Cantera http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1170
It was so nice. Friday was Laurie's birthday so we took her to eat at the Tip Top Cafe. We had seen it on Diner, Drive-In and Dives. WOW it was super yummy. On Saturday the girls took the kids to the zoo while the Boys got to go play the Palmer Golf Course. It was a little chilly but a day full of great memories. We all met back up at the hotel and then headed to the Alamo. Gracie loved all the wonderful facts she learned and could share with her class when we got home. Dinner was on the River walk and then back to the Westin for the night. Sunday morning Laurie and David took the girls to Church and to lunch with friends. Mom, Shad, Henry and I went shopping. After lunch we met up and got ready for a big Party.
The BBC ( a business conference) started that night. We showed off the kids to all of our business friends. JoJo and Big Daddy stayed and we took all the kids to eat at the Magic Time Machine. The next morning Shad, Emma, Laurie, David, Grace, and Belle all headed home. Mom, Dad, Henry and I stayed to work and play.
Shad and Captain Morgan
Tinkerbell made them hats. Can you guess what David is?

Tinkerbell was a great waitress

If you haven't ever been It is a must see

So many great photo opps here

They are finally old enough to walk around and see without us having to hold them all up

A Bird pooped in Gracie's hair. Boy was she upset

As soon as we walked in the girls ran to climb on the lions.

There was a CHEESY train ride. It ran right down the side of a golf driving range and then right in front of it. I wonder how many time people have gotten hit with balls.

We had adjoining rooms. We always tell the hotel it is best that way so that the kids aren't running up and down the hall trying to get to each other.

YUMMY Banana Ice Box Pie at the Tip Top. I don't even like Banana's..I know I am weird but this pie was AMAZING!!

The food was so good. I wish I would have taken a picture of my chicken fried steak. They are famous for their shrimp. Let me just say this doesn't look like a place to order shrimp but Shad, Dad, and David said it was the best they had ever had

It was pretty cold but they insited on going in.

Our girls are such hams

This place was so BEAUTIFUL!!!
