This months virtue at church is cooperation. I have been trying to teach Emma both cooperation and compassion lately. One of the ways we worked on this was making cookies for service men who don't get to go home over the holidays. We hope that this would bring a little bit of home to them. Emma really enjoyed it and I hope she learned a little something as well.

oh how awesome of you and Emma to do that for our military members. Please keep my husband in your prayers, as he leaves Jan 6 to go to Fla for 6 weeks, and from there he'll be headed 'over there' for 4+ mos, so in theory my kids and I will be without daddy from Jan 6 to sometime in July, if the Air Force doesn't extend him....miss seeing you and Emma at Colonial :)
