Summer =Family Vacations

This past weekend we took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge with Laurie and David's Family. We stayed in the Grizzly Bear Suite so that we could all be together. As soon as we got there Henry was so excited. He just loved crawling all of the place and exploring his new environment.

But soon he decided it was time to go swimming and climbed into his float and said lets go...(GWL Hint #1. You cant take an outside float)
The girls LOVED the tub. Especially when we turned the jets on !
In the evening there is story time at the clock tower. We all got bathed and ready for bed and headed down to see the show. This is the tree house just down the stairs from our room. We had a great view of the lobby

The show was very cute...if you have been there before you will understand. It is kind of like the It's a small world ride at Disney. They sang there is nothing to be afraid of like a dozen times.
Gracie enjoyed fixing Emma's hair and watching TV in the pull out bed.
Every couple of minutes the GIANT bucket would dump tons of water on those standing under it. We have something similar at Cast A Way Cove but this is WAY more water.
Emma, Grace, and Belle got Paw Passes. The Pup Pass is a GREAT Deal. We had to distract them from the Kids spa. HOLY MOLY!!! $79 for a mani/pedi. NO WAY. Paw Pass was $39.99 With the Paw Pass they got to make a Stuffy
Make 3 crafts in the Cub Club. Emma made a memory bag, a sun catcher, and a body spray
Belle painted a turtle bank, a sun catcher and made a body spray
Grace made a memory bag, a sun catcher and a lunch bag

Henry enjoyed watching the girls do their craft.

After our baths we had dinner at the Buffet. It was actually really good food. (GWL hint #2. The Kids Buffet is at their level but still really really HOT!! )

Emma was to scared to pick up her smores...So she need a little help.
They were so excited to meet the wolf. TOO CUTE!

This is the Giant Fireplace in the Lobby. What a good looking group. David, Laurie, Alex (11), Henry (11m) Anne, Shad, Gracie (7), Emma (5), and Belle (4)

Instead of the paw pass alex chose to play the game at the lodge. It took her more than 3 hours and she loved it. (GWL hint #3 If your child is not old enough to read then they are not old enough to play this game. If they are not old enough to run up and down 8 floors of stairs they are not old enough. )

The little girls also got $5 in tokens with their paw pass. We got a coin purse with our tickets. Super Fun games. I had never seen most of them
Next on the Paw Pass list. was a Shaker Drink in the bar

You pick either milk or lemonade and then you get a mix in and shake it up. Emma and Belle did Cherry Lemonade and Grace did strawberry milk. THEY LOVED THIS ONE and the bartender was so great with them.

Better view of the tree house just before we left.
We had a wonderful time. The water park was amazing. Everytime I tried to take a picture my camera fogged up. The slides were great and Henry loved crawling around in the water. There were 5 big slides inside and 2 smaller ones and then a ton a baby slides. A wave pool and a lazy river that is only 2 1/2 feet deep so all the girls could touch the bottom and didn't have to wear their life jackets. They really liked that.
(GWL hint #4 rent a cabana. It is totally worth it to have a place to put your stuff sit down and relax, have a safe, and the stocked fridge is great too. Totally worth the money)
