Our Litte Prince is 5

It can't be...it just can't be.  Our Henry is 5.  Time is going way WAY to fast.  This year Henry decided he would rather go to "The Castle" than have a birthday party.  What a GREAT idea.  As soon as I called The Schmidts they were in.  Frank ended up having to work by J and IVey got to come. 

 

As soon as we walked in the door, Shad took the boys and bought them shields and swards.  They LOVED them!

 

A few minutes later we met The King!  WOW!!!  He was really nice.  Henry and Ivey again...very excited!!!!

 

They were even excited about the suits of armor-oh and the ICEEs. 

 

 

Even before the show began our boys were practicing their knight skills. 

 

Daddy and I were kinda excited too!!!

 So were the girls. 

 

 

 Now Daddy makes one mean knight!

 



 

I couldn't believe how well the boys ate.  They tried the dragon soup, dragon toes, baby dragon, or rather, veggie soup, potatoes, ribs, chicken...etc.  They ate so good. 

 

Our knight ended up winning and all 3 girls and I got a flower.  In the words of Henry "It was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!" 

On Henry's actual birthday we did our usual.  Presents in the morning!

And since it was Sunday...Henry got special treatment at church.  

And he got to pick lunch...guess where we ate.  

 

Since Daddy had to leave town...Emma and I took him swimming before we headed to JoJo's. 

 

 

Henry requested Big Daddy Burgers and JoJo's Angel Food Cake with strawberries and Cream.

Henry is 47 1/2 inches tall and weighs 58lbs. 

He makes every day fun and exciting.  He keeps us on our toes and likes to make us all laugh.  He is always telling jokes and trying to trick us.  He is companionate and thoughtful.  He loves his family and his friends and has a uniquely wise relationship with the Lord.  I can't wait to see what this next year brings for Henry.
