My parents instilled in me very early the importance of obedient tithing. Once a year we would sit around the kitchen table and discuss our allowance. Then my dad would explain to us that all we had came from God and that each week would receive our allowance and we were to tithe before we did anything else with our money, next came saving and then we could spend what was left.
Shad and I have been doing this with Alex and Emma for years. We just started with Henry and this week when we went to church he asked to put his money in the box.
