Date Night

My sister and I have started a new tradition during Christmas Break. We each take a turn keeping all the kiddo's so that the other couple can have a date night. The girls really look forward to it. Laurie and David kept the kids first. Emma got to spend the night but we picked Henry up after we were done with our date. Shad and I had a quick dinner at Alfredo's and the watched the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Good movie....different...but good. At least until the end. If you have a baby I recommend you wait a while. It was VERY hard for me to watch.

Emma had a blast spending the night and she actually slept in. Usually she wakes Lolly up with the sun...literally she goes to the window and shows Lolly that the sun is up and so should they be.

Next we got Gracie and Belle. This is the first time that they were really excited about staying with us over night. Emma is just like me. She loves to spend the night out. She has spent the night with JoJo 2 times and Lolly 2 times this break. And cried her eyes out tonight because she didn't get to spend the night with JoJo again tonight. But Gracie and Belle are not that way. Belle is pretty good but Gracie is really a home body. Not this time she was pumped. We took everyone to see Madagascar 2. (Henry and Belle slept) Emma and Grace danced in the ailse. We have this movie thing down now. We bring baggies in the Diaper Bag and get a large popcorn then divide it out. Now next time we will hit the gas station for candy before hand also. Then we came home and played Barbie house and dress up. Next we watched Space Chimps to slow down before bed. Grace and Emma slept in Emma's bed and Belle slept with me and Shad. The next morning I made JoJo's famous waffles. Gracie loves them. Henry ate almost 1/4th of one.

We love this new tradition. Maybe we will do it again at Spring Break. Thanks for our night out Lolly. Hope yall enjoyed Fireproof.
