The Day Before

Christmas Eve is so much fun. Christmas used to be a one day holiday for us but now it is at least two days. As we grow older traditions change. It is hard for me (one who doesn't like change) but I enjoy our new traditions.

This year we have Alex for Christmas so we opened our family presents with Binkie on Christmas Eve. Then we headed to church for Christmas Eve service. GREAT JOB TIM. It was very traditional. Which I loved!!
Next we drove out to the house with the amazing lights that I blogged about earlier. Then we headed to JoJo's. We made Chocolate Chip Cookies, ate potato soup and grilled cheeses, and then opened our pj's and headed to bed.

We new Santa was close.

The next morning Santa didn't disappoint. All of the kiddo's were so excited including Henry. He loves his new toy so much he decided it was time to learn to sit up all on his own. Emma got a Barbie house, Alex got a video camera, Grace got a DS, and Belle got a Doll House.

After a short stop by the house we all met back up for lunch at GiGi and Uncle Larry's house. Everyone got to be there except Erin, Randy and Caleb. They were missed. The food was great as always but the fellowship was the best. We love being with our family.

We always pray for a pretty day on Christmas because of all the kids we have. There were 15 under the age of 13. It is great to be able to usher them outside for playtime. They so enjoy getting together.

We hope you have all had an amazing and blessed year. 2008 was GREAT can't wait to see what 2009 has in store for us.
