So last night Shad, Emma and I went to dinner. (Buffalo Wild Wings-anything to help get this baby out) During dinner Shad and I began to discuss the Hogan Family. We really enjoyed watching Hogan knows Best. I think that is what it was called. Anyway we were totally shocked when they announced they were divorcing. Shad was telling me that he had heard they were both now dating other people. Emma was listening to us but we had NO idea she understood what we were really talking about.
Suddenly Emma said "if you two date other people I wont be your kid anymore" We were so shocked we didn't know what to say at first. I wasn't even sure I had heard her correctly. So I asked her "What did you say" she turned and looked me in the eye and said "I said if you two date other people I wont be your kid anymore."
Shad and I smiled at her and explained that would never happen. That daddy and I loved each other so much and that God had brought us together as a family and we would NEVER date other people so she didn't need to worry about it. What a smart little girl we have...not to mention too funny!
