Secret Keeper Girl is a ministry for girls 8-14. They teach modesty, how to pick friends and how to embrace their God given beauty.
On Saturday Candra and I took Alex. It was so great for both of us to be able to support her and show her how much we care about her and her future. Of course Alex did a lot of eye rolling and sighing while we were there and she wouldn't dance with us. But Candra and I didn't care we did all the moves to the praise songs and just acted like it was her choice. It was really nice to do something just the 3 of us. I hope Alex will cherish the memory.
If secret keeper girl comes to a town near you then please take the opportunity to attend. It is as much for mom's as it is the girls. You wont wanna miss it.

I saw the link to your blog on twitter so I had to check it out. :) Your family is precious and it was fun to put a face with the telephone voice....and I see lots of hairbows I recognize! ;)
This Secret Keeper Girl ministry sounds great!! I'll be on the lookout for this coming to town. My oldest (7) is getting to the age where I'm beginning to be concerned about how to raise girls in this world we live in...
