Birthday Marathon

For Shad's Birthday we went to OKC for a Marathon. Shad and our friend Jason have been training for this run for MONTHS. A little over 2 weeks ago Shad dropped a CPU on his foot and fractured 3 toes. It was nasty. They healed really quickly and he decided if he laid off running till the marathon he might just make it. Well he made is 13.1 miles. Then had to stop. His toes were killing him and he was over correcting and that made his hip hurt. Can you believe he ran on 3 fractured TOES!!! CRAZY...

When we got home on Sunday my dad cooked hamburgers and my sister made a pina colada cake.
