Fathers

This picture was taken a little while back. One night Shad was doing bath duty when Emma splashed him. He had been out playing golf and really need a bath anyway so he jumped in. I have the most amazing husband in the world. I would never do something so spontaneous. Emma LOVED it. They had so much fun. She asks every once in a while if Daddy will get in the tub with her again.

Fathers day is so special to me. I love celebrating my love for my husband the father of my children. He deserves so much more than we can give. So to try to make it a special day, Emma, Alex, Henry (by default) and I got up and made the most yummy monkey bread for breakfast. Then we headed to Church and after church we ate lunch at Thai Orchid with the Schmidt's. We headed home for a much needed Sunday nap. Daddy got to sleep on the couch by himself and then watch the golf tournament on TV. After that we went to dinner at my parents house. Shad left early so that he could come home and play WOW! I hope he enjoyed his day.

Speaking of Fathers. My daddy is the greatest. Not only is he my dad, friend, and boss. He is also Shad's best friend. He is a great source of advise for us. We are so blessed to have him. We love you dad.
