Open House for Henry

Daddy got to be the star guest at Henry's Open House. I was in California for a work meeting and was so SAD to miss it.
The theme was under water and Henry's crafts were too CUTE!!!! This egg was his favorite. He has played with it for weeks. We have had to glue it back together a couple of times.
The whale is my favorite!

Mrs. Kleinart...you are a wonderful teacher. I am so glad Emma and Henry both got to have you.
This just makes me SMILE!!!!

Daddy Ski Trip

Aunt Lolly, JoJo and I had a scrapbooking weekend planned and after Shad and Emma came home and told about all the fun they had skiing....Well DeDe and Shad decided that was the perfect plan while the mama's were away.
So skiing they went!!!!
Henry and the girls went to ski school. They all did so GREAT!!! Even if a few of them took a little convening. It was well worth it. The girls were skiing like CHAMPS and Henry was the best 3 year old on the mountain...ok close to the best.

There wasn't alot of Pizza with these girls...they were all about the french fries and SPEED!!!!
Can you believe HOW CUTE these kids are?
OPPS!!! I think he fell.
The guys found a nice cabin where they could all stay together. DeDe cooked breakfast each morning...yummy DeDe eggs...Emma's favorite!!!

By the end of the weekend they were skiing Greens, Blues, and even crossed a BLACK. I am so SO Proud of them!!!

The Crew-Indoor Soccer

I have to admit I was hesitant about indoor soccer, but as soon as I mentioned it to Emma she was all about it. She was invited to play on a co-ed team. 7 boys and 4 girls. We even made it to the playoffs.

Indoor is SO much fun to watch and Emma LOVED playing it.

Date Night with my Valentine

Shad took me to a wonderful dinner for our Valentines celebration. I am proud to report that Alex and Emma babysat each other and Henry. The house was tighty when I got home and everyone was happy!!!! GREAT NIGHT!

Emma's Valentines

Emma's class party was a ton of fun too!!! We had cupcakes to start off with and then we played some heart shaped BINGO! I brought a couple of splat balls for prizes. They really loved that. Then we snapped a couple of quick pics before diving into their Valentines Sacks. I loved how unique all the Valentines were this year.

What a great looking group!!!!
SUCH LOVE
Libby, Emma, and Clair
Crazy Girls!!!!
Emma choose the Raccoon for her sack. They didn't get a lot of time to work on it and Emma had stressed out about it but I think it turned out nice!!!
Kate Christoff, Alexis Carter, Emma, Libby Featherston, and Clair Hood
We are so lucky to have such a great group of girls in Emma's class!

Henry's Valentines

Henry's Valentines Party was so cute. The party mommies had such great ideas. We started with a candy heart stacking game. I was so surprised at how well they did. Henry's tower of hearts fell over a couple of times and then he stopped and looked at the hearts really hard for just a few seconds....next thing I knew he had built a base out of the hearts and then started his tower again. I can't believe he thought of doing that...maybe he'll be an architect.

Next was a scavenger hunt all around the room. The class searched high and low for tons of red and white hearts. We played this a couple of times.

I love all the creative things that Mrs. Kleinart thinks of doing. Here are hearts that the kids painted and then she asked them to name something they loved.
This just melted my heart. When Mrs. Kleinart saw me reading these she told me that several of the girls had chosen to say that they loved Henry but she tried to make each heart different.
To finish our party off we had a yummy cupcake and M&M's. It was the perfect little party!
